Neo, Design Producer: Devlog #1


First devlog update! This week we really focused on the design of the game, deciding to stick with the money system and running the whole game as a roguelike.

I played Minimetro to get an idea of what's happening and I can confirm that the theming is very similar, but the gameplay will be entirely different so we needn't worry about doing something that already exists. Some may want to describe the game as "Minimetro but a roguelike" which is fine, many games are compared like that and I would rather focus on making a good product rather than forcing it to not have many similarities to other products.
