Devlog 5 - Color Scheme Variants
For color schemes, I chose to work in pixel art since that's what I can do most consistently. I decided to choose different characters that had different schemes.
Complementary Color Scheme
This is Valkyrie. For them, I focused on the contrast of red/orange and blue. They're a merfolk-like creature with a suit of armor made of living tissue such as muscles (yes it's as gross as it sounds).
Monochromatic Color Scheme
This is Beautiful Song. Obviously, he and his cloak have a purple hue. He's a little bird guy who plays music and tells stories and summons the spirits of the dead.
AnalogousColor Scheme
This is Wren. It was hard to find a character that fits this, but the purple->red->orange->yellow works I think. The blue eyes and silver gun are a bit off but ehh. He's a pirate btw.
