Devlog 8 - Sprite Animation


All of my items are pick ups, so I considered just making them all spin, but I tried to be a bit more creative.

Object One

For Kismet's necklace, I added some wings flapping out. One of her patrons is an angel so this is emblematic of her power. 


Object Two

For Val's shield, I went with a more classic spin, it's a move classic item that would just give damage reduction, so there wasn't much to do with it. In game it would float up and down and have a shadow, but that wouldn't be part of the pixel animation, that would be seperate.



Object Three

For Nic0's head, I made an animation of it breaking. Still not sure if I'd use these pixel characters for the game or 3D models, but this is what we have so far, so this is what I went with
