Final - Fight™ Mock Manual


Welcome to Fight™! The tournament of champions featuring Dungeons & Dragons characters from games I run or play in!

First, a collage of the visual inspirations, the game has beautiful scrolling backgrounds, 8-bit sprites for the hub world, and low poly 3D models in the game itself!


(Inspiration + Source Material)

A fighting game for teens and young adults, The narrative is a game is based on the Dungeons and Dragons games I play with my friend group. We have named our server Fine™ (hence the name of the game). The characters would be the player characters from the campaigns. Despite being from dnd, I doubt it will have much of a story, kinda just join and punch type vibe, but there could be some silly adventure mode with like, image based cutscenes and fights.

As a summery, the gameplay is definitely going to be a fighting game. I'm not sure if I'd want a Mortal Kombat vibe or a Super Smash Bros vibe. Potentially both, a sort of party mode and competitive mode. As we get more into it, I will try to narrow it down though. I know for sure I would want basic abilities for everyone based on what they could do in dnd, and some sort of super/final smash element.

Arm yourself and stand your ground with maps from all across the multiverses and powerful magical weapons


(Exploratory Design Concepts)

All of this greatness is housed in a beautiful Itch.io page with hexagons (the bestagons) depicting the logos of each campaign in an initially tiling background, as well as a transparent purple that matches the server's main color.

In the games adventure mode, explore places from each campaign, like Ravnica from the Magic: the Gathering universe, The Plane of Air from Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms, or even custom worlds like Jurazia!

Characters on the world map will be transformed into adorable miniature versions of themselves! For example:

Various mini skins can be unlocked for each character, as seen with Eek!

Of course these objects can be in motion, here we can see the neckless show off the powers of an angel!

As the fighting part of this fighting game is in all three spatial dimensions, these items also appear in three dimensional versions! Here's The Shield of Ormendahl rerealized in 3D!

Lastly, you're going to want to not die yourself as you keep hitting your opponent till they stop moving, making sure to keep an eye on your health!
